- In a large bowl lightly mix with a fork the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt. In a separate bowl mix milk, butter, egg, and lemon. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and use the fork to incorporate until just combined. Heat frying pan over medium heat, put a little oil or butter, scoop out 1/3 cup batter pancakes into the pan, and fry until bubbles form, flip, and continue to fry until golden and cooked through.
- Plate the pancakes, and top with butter, cherries, and maple syrup.
