- In a small pan combine pears, brown sugar, and vanilla, cook over medium low heat for about 10 min, until pears are softened and syrupy. Set aside.
- Oatmeal- in a medium saucepan combine oats, cinnamon, milk, and salt, bring to boil, and lower heat to simmer, for about 30 mins, stirring occasionally. Divide into bowls and top with pears and walnuts.
